 KNEC Diploma in Tourism Management.

The KNEC Diploma in Tourism Management is a nationally recognized TVET qualification examined by the Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC). It prepares learners for supervisory, operational, and administrative roles in the tourism and travel industry.

The course focuses on planning, managing, marketing, and delivering tourism services while promoting sustainable and responsible tourism practices.

 Entry Requirements

To qualify for the diploma, a student must have any one of the following:

  • KCSE mean grade C- (C minus) or above, OR

 Students with tourism certificates can progress directly into the diploma level.

Course Duration
  • 2 years 

  • Includes theory, practical training, and industrial attachment.
