Course Overview

Computer Networking equips learners with practical skills to install, configure, and maintain computer networks. The course is hands-on and focuses on LAN/WAN setup, internet connectivity, and basic network security, preparing graduates for ICT support roles or self-employment.

  • 3 – 6 months (artisan / short course)

  • Network devices (routers, switches, hubs)

  • Cable types & termination (UTP, fiber basics)

  • IP addressing & subnetting (basic)

  • Wireless networking (Wi-Fi setup)

  • Internet & ISP connectivity

  • Network troubleshooting

  • Basic network security

  • Health, safety & ICT ethics

  • KCSE certificate (any grade)

  • KCPE accepted in some colleges

  • Suitable for beginners & adult learners

Certification Levels
  • Artisan Certificate in Computer Networking

  • Certificate in Computer Networking / ICT Support
