Mr. Karani, the Director of Summit Technical College, brings over two decades of experience in the education sector. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Education from Kenyatta University (KU), where he developed a strong passion for teaching. He further advanced his studies with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Finance from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT). Mr. Karani is a Certified Public Accountant (CPAK) and holds accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS), UK, highlighting his expertise in accounting and procurement. He is also a renowned expert in taxation subjects in CPA, having mentored many students who have excelled in the field.

Mr. Karani’s educational career began at Kagumo Girls High School, where he mentored countless students and shaped future leaders. From 2003 to 2010, he expanded his impact in higher education, serving as a faculty member at KCA University and Vision College lecturing Taxation and advanced taxation Courses. In 2011, he co-founded Summit Institute of Professionals, serving as the Director of Administration, where his leadership skills were exemplified. His achievements and exceptional leadership led to his appointment as the Director and Principal of Summit Technical College until April 2024.

As of today, Mr. Karani continues to serve as the Director of the college a, having delegated the duties of Principal while remaining focused on his critical role in steering the institution towards greater success and innovation. He is also a Part time C.P.A Lecturer and an expert in Public Finance & Taxation and Advanced taxation at Summit Technical College.
